Resolution No. 9

In the Student Government

Mr. Layne introduced the following resolution.

A Resolution

Be it resolved by the Student Government of Woodrow Wilson High School, That

Section 1.--
The Student Government Constitution is amended as follows:

In Articles III-IV, strike out the existing text and insert the following:

"The maximum membership of the Student Government shall be limited to 38 members:

(a) six Student Government officers;

(b) sixteen class officers; and

(c) sixteen class representatives.

Article IV
 

Section 1.--
The officers of the Student Government shall be a president, a vice president, a secretary, a treasurer, an Executive Committee chairman, and a secretary of state."

Section 2.--
The Secretary of State shall:

(a) offer procedural opinions only when asked to do so by the president, and be subject to the limitations of debate and voting that are applied to all member speakers;

(b) chair the Constitution, Law, and Justice Committee; and

(c) work with the sponsor and the administration during the election of Student Government and class officers and class representatives.
